In 1992, we leased the 9 hectares of "Cru de Tirecul," one of the former Premier Cru vineyards of Monbazillac, which was in a very poor state. However, we recognized the enormous potential of this estate: old vines planted on the best slope in the region. This was the beginning of a wonderful adventure, driven by the desire to reconnect with the glorious past of this estate, without compromising on the quality and luscious character of the wines. From the very first vintages, the wines were praised by international and French critics. So much so that in 1997, we bought the estate, renovated the old cellars, and began bringing the vineyard up to our high standards. This transformation of the vineyard was completed in 2025. From the outset, we chose an environmentally friendly approach, and we decided to formalize this commitment in 2009. Since the 2012 vintage, all our wines have been organic.
