A grand cuvée blend of 50% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Hand-harvested from very poor plots, then fermented and extracted slowly, it benefited from approximately 18 months of aging. We then wait 5 years before releasing this cuvée to refine its structure. The brilliant ruby color heralds a complex and subtle nose of red fruit with hints of Havana tobacco and graphite. The palate is very harmonious, developing fruit on a framework of saline yet integrated tannins, characteristic of the limestone soil. A great bottle, elegant at its peak, for a completely harmonious wine.
